Meet the Principal - Kadhaya Geoffrey

Pastor Kadhaya Geoffrey has faithfully served at GTS since 1997. He is a man of the Word! He has both a scholar’s mind and a pastor’s heart! Pastor Kadhaya is an excellent servant leader, always ready to serve everyone.

Pastor Kadhaya was appointed to be the GTS president (which title was later changed to “Principal”) in 2013, taking it from Dr. John K. Fulks. He is also the pastor of Victoria Baptist Church in Jinja, Uganda.

Pastor Kadhaya is also a husband and a father. He is married to his beautiful wife, Esther Kadhaya, and has four children.

Meet the Academic Dean - John Kirkman Fulks, PhD

7 November 1979 is the most important day in John’s life, when he surrendered his life to Lord Jesus and received Him as his Savior. He was 13 years old.

John received a Bachelor’s in Math Education in 1989. He worked as a Math educator and sports coach for three years before turning to full-time ministry.

John and his sweet wife Rebecca were married July 1993.

John served as Associate Pastor in two churches in the USA. He worked various part-time jobs during and after receiving his MDiv at Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary (MABTS) in 1997.

In 1999, John and Rebecca moved to Uganda with two young sons to work at GTS as Global Outreach International (GOI) missionaries. John has served GTS as Faculty, Vice-President, then President until 2013, and since then has been Academic Dean. He also served as Pastor at Victoria Baptist for about two years. He has remained as GTS Ministry Site Supervisor for GOI for over two decades.

John completed his PhD in 2011 in Missions, New Testament, and Theology. His passion has been theological education, expository preaching, and indigenous church planting. His life verse is 2 Timothy 2:2 – PASS IT ON.

John and Rebecca have five adult children, two daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, and three grandchildren. All five of their children and their son-in-law graduated from Rift Valley Academy in Kijabe, Kenya.
